Take on bigger work together.
A team is a standing group of independent freelancers. Everyone stays their own contractor, but the team can claim a task as one — and build a shared reputation.
CoLabEx is in an early-access beta. Everything on this page is live today; anything still planned is listed under “Good to know.”
What you can do
A team can take on a task together, with the split between members set when it's claimed.
Your team gets a page with a description, a logo, the work it has done and its combined ratings, if you choose to make it public.
Team leads manage membership and settings; members work the tasks.
Work done through a team still builds each member's own portfolio and skill points.
How it starts
- Start a team and invite the freelancers you already work with.
- Claim tasks as a team from the Task Board.
- Deliver, get reviewed, and build the team's rating.
Teams that have made their profile public show up on the network page.

- A team claims tasks; it doesn't own projects. Projects belong to a person or a company.
- Each member remains an independent contractor, and CoLabEx keeps records rather than moving money.
Accounts are free while CoLabEx is in early access, and spots are limited.
